It appears that the government, working in collaboration with Safaricom, has been tracking my movement and communications. I strongly believe that this is not an isolated incident but part of a broader effort to intimidate and silence citizens like myself who fearlessly support opposition figures such as Rigathi Gachagua and others. It troubles me that the same individuals who have been involved in abductions and silencing voices that are against the government—those who advocate for a two-term government—are now targeting supporters of Rigathi Gachagua and other opposition members. As you are all aware, a by-election is taking place in Magarini following the court's nullification of the 2022 parliamentary elections. Many candidates will be participating in this election, and I wish all of them the best as they vie for the seat. However, I want to reaffirm my position: I will not be participating in this by-election, nor will I be supporting any candidate. My focus remains on the future — the August 2027 general election — where I intend to run for the position of Member of Parliament for Magarini, either under the DCP Party or any other platform that ensures a fair and just process.
