I kindly urge political actors to leave the politics of Magarini to its rightful leaders and its people.

Politics is not a matter of life and death. I have simply expressed my interest in representing the people of Magarini as their Member of Parliament year 2027, a move driven solely by my commitment to serve and uplift this community. The people of Magarini will decide whether I get the seat or not. If I am fortunate enough to be chosen, I will thank them sincerely; if not, I will continue to work alongside them, supporting their needs in any way I can.

It is perplexing and disappointing to see some individuals employing over 100 Kikuyu youth—allegedly from Mt. Kenya—visiting clubs, matangas, funerals, and other public gatherings across all part of Magarini constituency in groups of 10-20, attempting to undermine my candidature. Why would a whole politician resort to such tactics just because I declared my interest in the position of Member of Parliament and also expressed support for H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH for the 2027 presidential elections? Such actions are unnecessary, childish, and inhumane. They do not reflect the maturity expected from leaders.

Furthermore, apart from these youth, there are about 20 average-aged men and women who are also strategically positioned, attending churches and other prayer centers, using these platforms to deconstruct our candidature. I urge them to stop, as the residents of Magarini are now aware of their tactics. These youth and adults are making well-calculated, strategic moves, mainly spread across public joints, bars, and Mangweni (the local bar joints). Others are even going to churches, and when given the opportunity to greet congregants, they use that time to tarnish my candidature. It’s important to highlight that all this work is being done by outside politicians working together with some of my perceived competitors in Magarini, who think that tarnishing and deconstructing my candidature will help them politically. Such tactics are transparent, and the people are now alert to their game plan.

Why would a politician resort to such behavior? Do not take our candidature and the people of Magarini lightly. The residents are intelligent and know what they want. They are capable of making their own decisions without being dictated to by outsiders. Your efforts to create chaos and hostility among top leadership and within the community are unnecessary and futile.

Let me remind everyone that if God is for my candidature, no one can overturn the will of the people of Magarini. If He is not, then that is how it shall be, and I accept His divine decision. We are bound by His will, and I trust in His plan.

To my detractors, I say: It is too early, and your attempts to tarnish and deconstruct my support at this time are cowardly acts. My supporters and my team are strong and will not be moved by your Sheneginians. The people of Magarini are not fools; they are discerning and will make their choices at the right time. Do not underestimate the strength and unity of our team. I promise you, this will be a tight race. You should preserve that energy for future use when the right time comes. We shall make you run for your money.

What is so special about your reaction? What guarantees that there will be a big fallout? I assure you, God is in control. His will shall be done, regardless of what you do or say. I am not a simple politician who can be dismissed or manipulated as you may think; I have been in this game for sometime now. I have also learnt alot now and when the right time comes, I will show everyone of you how to dance to the tune -slow but sure. For now, let the people of Magarini continue their hustle in peace—they are not fools. When they decide, they will do so confidently and peacefully.

I kindly urge all political actors to leave the politics of Magarini to its rightful leaders and its people. Focus on your mandated areas and responsibilities. Magarini’s peace and progress should not be disturbed by unnecessary political drama.

Let us all remember that politics is a game of the people’s choice. Respect it, and respect the will of the people of Magarini.
