Dear parents, guardians and Form-4 leavers of Magarini,

I promised to open every possible door for our youth, and I’m delighted to announce the FIRST ROUND of 80 FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS made possible through a new partnership with OSII BRENDA EDUCATION EMPOWERMENT (OBEE).  

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING  

• 100 % tuition fees paid for 80 students (40 per college)  

• Training in market-ready Diploma, Certificate and Higher-Diploma courses  

• Two government-accredited Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes:  

  1. Kigumo Technical Institute – MURANG'A County (40 slots)  

  2. Chamasiri Technical Institute – BUSIA County (40 slots)

1. Building & Civil Engineering.

   • Diploma (C-) | Certificate (D plain) | Artisan (D-)  

   • Specialties: Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Land Survey, Road Construction, Plumbing, Survey & Mapping.  

2. Computer Studies & Mathematics  

   • Diploma (C-) | Certificate (D plain)  

3. Electrical & Electronics Engineering  

   • Higher Diploma (requires existing Diploma)  

   • Diploma (C-) | Certificate (D plain) | Artisan (D-)  

4. Business Studies & Social Sciences

   • Options: Business Management, Human Resource Management, Supply-Chain, Accountancy, Social Work & Community Development  

OTHER SHORT COURSES:  

• Both institutes also run MANY SHORT, SKILLS-BASED COURSES that take only a few weeks to a few months to complete.  

• They are ideal for students with D- and below or anyone seeking quick, employable skills (e.g., plumbing basics, computer packages, tailoring, welding, beauty therapy, agribusiness, cookery, etc.).
