MANY BRUTAL KILLINGS UNDER PRESIDENT RUTO’s ADMINISTRATION: A CRY FOR JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY.
The tragic death of Honorable Charles Ong'ondo Were, the MP of Kasipul, who was cowardly shot on Ngong Road, is a painful reminder of the rising insecurity that now plagues our nation. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all Kenyans mourning these unjust losses.
It is heartbreaking to witness the growing trend of violence—many innocent citizens are being killed and dumped in Nairobi’s sewage dumps, victims of a government that has failed to protect its people. The rising number of killings, from the youth protesting against oppressive bills to locals fighting to retain their land, highlights a disturbing breakdown in our security system. The government’s inability to secure its citizens is a stain on its leadership and a betrayal of the trust Kenyans placed in them.We also condemn the sinister attempts by President Ruto’s government to silence political opposition. The threats and harassment directed at our next presidential candidate for 2027, Hon Rigathi Gachagua, and the alleged deployment of goons to intimidate and endanger his life, are deeply concerning. Such acts of intimidation and attempted murder are not only criminal but also threaten the very foundation of our democracy. The government’s reckless actions to eliminate political rivals will not go unchallenged.Kenyans must wake up and recognize that our security is at a breaking point. The frustration and anger among the people are mounting, and the time is approaching when we will say, “enough is enough.” The impending 2027 general elections are a critical moment for us to stand united, to protect our leaders, and to demand a government that prioritizes security and justice.
We warn the Ruto administration: continued violence and repression will have dire consequences. The people are prepared to defend their rights and their leaders. Ruto’s efforts to frustrate his main political opponent will ultimately fail, as the voice of the people will prevail. The day will come when justice will be served, and Kenyans will send Ruto home, returning security, peace, and dignity to our nation. To all those who have lost loved ones—families, friends, and relatives—know that your pain is shared by many. We promise that justice will come, and a new dawn of security and peace is on the horizon. The era of brutality and impunity will end, and Kenya will rise again.
The time for change is near. Kenyans must stay vigilant, united, and determined. Justice and security will be restored, and Ruto will ultimately face the consequences of his failures. Kenya deserves better, and together, we will make that a reality.
Rest in peace to all the fallen heroes. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten. The fight for justice and a secure Kenya continues. Our good God will protect us!
