It is with a heavy heart that I express my deep sorrow upon hearing the news of the passing of Deputy Governor of Lamu County, Hon. Raphael Munyua Ndung'u. His departure is a profound loss not only to his family, friends and Lamu people but to the entire nation.

Hon. Munyua was a dedicated and progressive leader whose unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Lamu was evident in all his endeavors. Known for his tireless work ethic and compassionate nature, he devoted his life to serving the community, always prioritizing the needs of others above his own. His visionary leadership and innovative ideas have left an indelible mark on Lamu, and his efforts will be remembered for years to come.

As we mourn this tremendous loss, I join the residents of Magarini Constituency in extending heartfelt condolences to his family, close friends, and the entire Lamu community. May they find comfort in the fond memories they shared and strength in the legacy he leaves behind.
